SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY
HUMAN DEVELOPMENT DISCOURSE
AlBaqir Academy will impart excellent academic as well as religious and moral education, according to the principles of the Ja’fari Islamic faith, to have students proud of their Islamic identity and global citizenship.
Students will receive instruction in Islamic Studies, Arabic, Qur’an recitation and memorization, Salāh and remembrance of special Islamic events/holidays. The curriculum is fully integrated with Islamic perspectives, including history, traditions and values, and students receive daily reinforcement in Islamic personality traits and moral ethics.
The Academy will promote universally accepted values of respect, mutual understanding, peace, and good citizenship.
Children have multiple intelligences and every student has the ability to thrive and succeed if provided with the appropriate educational needs. An effective school program responds to this diversity with a curriculum that will meet individual differences, maximize each student's abilities, and help students actualize their potential. This is known as the human development discourse and it is our approach at AlBaqir Academy.
